Congrats! You’re Officially Going Full Throttle at the 2025 Dirtastic Main Event!

It’s ALMOST here…The Main Event presented by Fly Racing is NEXT weekend!  The weather is on point for the weekend! Below you will find a TON of information, so please make sure to read all the way through.

LOCATION, CAMPING AND IMPORTANT INFO:

Location:

Lily Prairie OHV/Johns Peak

GOOGLE MAPS- DON’T Follow these directions. Read below!

42.3467274,-123.0168728

Jacksonville, OR

***MUST READ***

Regardless of where Google or Apple Maps take you…

Please go through Jacksonville and head west on W California St. Take a right on Jacksonville Reservoir Rd. You will see a Dirtastic sign and arrow. From there, follow the signs all the way up the hill to the Main Event!

If you follow a Map/Google App, you may end up on a tight road that’s hard to turn a trailer around in. PLEASE trust us and follow the written directions!

If you are towing or driving an RV and you see our reminders along the road up to the Peak, we recommend using a low gear and 4WD (if you have it).

Gates: Open Thursday 4PM (and close at 10pm)! We will thank you in advance to refrain from arriving early. Have your ticket ready to show upon arrival.

(Please do not camp on the access road or in day use areas to Timber Mountain/Johns Peak. You will get a ticket.)

Anyone who is not registered on our list will not be permitted into the event. Exception: If you have someone dropping you off, they must sign the waiver and will be asked to leave immediately after you are settled in.

Rules:

  • Please be respectful of everyone at the Main Event! We are all gathering for a great weekend and we want good vibes all around!

  • Attend a riders meeting to find out all the things you need to know for the weekend (8am Friday/7:30 am Saturday)

  • Wear your helmet! ANY TIME YOU ARE ON A MOTORCYCLE.

  • Drinking/drugging and motorcycles don't mix. Please don't.

  • HAVE FUN.

Map download: Download Trailforks (free version), load the Motorcycle Riders Association area (Jacksonville, OR) and select “Dirtbike” under the drop down to load the mapped trails on the property. You will be able to track your ride, helping get you back on track if you happen to explore beyond the marked trails.

Another option, but not as good is:  https://www.avenzamaps.com/maps/909253/johns-peak-timber-mountain-mra-ohv-area

Gaia also works and is a good option. Whatever you choose to download, It’ll be a big help!

Cash or card? Cash is QUEEN! Between the raffle tickets, tasty food and the release of our latest BRAAP Collection, you’ll want some extra $$$ available. Please bring cash for any purchases you may want to make during the weekend. Cards are doable, but not ideal.

We will have food for purchase Thursday and Friday nights provided by Word on the Street food truck. The menu is drool worthy, so don’t miss out!

Saturday we will be catering burgers and fries for ALL! (Yes, with vegan/veggie options for anyone who requested in registration.)

Cell Service: There is little to no cell service in the staging area. You will get it when you ride to the log training area, the top of Johns Peak and possibly in a few other spots. Disconnect for the weekend!

Parking/Camping:

  • If you want to camp with your friends please make sure you are all lined up together, otherwise we cannot make any promises that you’d be parked together!

  • Reserved Oversized Vehicle Camping (over 30ft in length): You will be directed to your specific parking area. If you need help parking, please ask!

  • All other vehicles: Find a spot that fits your rig! There are a bunch of sites in the trees and around the staging area. We will have people helping direct you to certain zones based on what you are driving.

  • Loading ramp: There is one available, but there are also going to be plenty of people to help you unload/load your bike. Just ask!

  • Bathrooms: Porta potties and pit toilets are on site, but no showers. Bring baby wipes!

  • There are no hookups or water available.

  • Please pack out what you pack in!

Fires: We will have a giant fire for everyone to share, so come hang out with us! You are also allowed to have your own camp fire in a metal/rock fire ring. You MUST have a shovel, water and be responsible! Firewood is not available onsite.

What to pack:

  • DOT Approved helmet: You must wear your helmet at ALL times while on a dirt bike.

  • Required gear: Boots, Helmet, Goggles, Knee Guards

  • Suggested Gear: Gloves, Jersey, Pants, Chest Protector, Rain Jacket, etc.

  • Fully Prepped Dirt Bike (see below).

  • If you have a Mini Bike or anything under 150cc and sign up for the Relays!

  • Costume for Mini Moto Relays (yes that means spectators too) and the Saturday night Vintage Motocross party. Channel your fave rider from the past or whatever you want… Costume changes are encouraged. Just sayin.

  • Warm & waterproof jacket for mornings and evenings.

  • Extra Fuel - Bring all the fuel you need for the weekend! Town is only 4.5 miles away, but you won't want to travel up and down the access road if you don't have to.

  • Sunscreen

  • Bug Spray

  • Hydration pack

What’s the food and coffee situation?

  • We will be serving up complimentary drip coffee for everyone each morning. DF Milk and hot water will be available.

  • Athletic Brewing will be chilled and complimentary for anyone 21+.

  • Skip the prep and cooking with our food carts offering dinner for purchase each night. Saturday nights dinner is included in your ticket.

BIKE STUFF AND SESSIONS:

Oregon OHV Sticker:  An ATV permit must be displayed
on an ATV operated on public land specifically designated for ATV use.
Applies to Class I, II, III and IV ATV.
Valid for two years. Permits can be purchased at most sporting goods stores
or ATV dealerships. You can also purchase on line at

https://store.oregonstateparks.org/index.cfm?do=v.dsp_item&itemId=100

Prepped bike - We will have mechanics on site, but they will only be working on minor issues. You are responsible to make sure your bike is in good running order before you arrive.

Things to check:

  • Carborated bike: Make sure it is jetted correctly for the elevation of the Session location

  • Throttle: Roll throttle wide open, make sure it returns fully when you let go.

  • Turn handlebars lock-to-lock, throttle cable must not bind or pull through the full range of motion.

  • Pull in clutch & front brake levers, make sure they return without catching on handguards.  Levers should be rotated such that they are in the same plane, i.e. don't have one flat and one pointed down (some barkbuster configurations will make this impossible).  Excessively low levers will be difficult to reach on steep downhills, so discourage such set-up.

  • Check rear brake pedal height. If it's excessively low, you may have difficulty using it.

  • Kill button.  Make sure it works.

OMA KTM in Medford is offering a complimentary pre ride inspection on Thursday May 15th.

Here’s what they’re offering:

A mechanic will do a visual check of your bike to spot anything that’s loose, leaking, broken, or worn out. If something needs attention, you’ll have the option to get it fixed right there.

    •    Free pre-ride inspection

    •    20% off parts needed for any repairs

    •    20% off any additional gear or supplies for the weekend

    •    30% off Dunlop and IRC tires

Sierra Savage is offering private photos sessions throughout the weekend starting at $75! Reserve a time and have some pro photos taken of you on (or off) your bike! Find out more HERE.
