Spend 4 days and 3 nights with Dirtastic riding, camping and hanging out deep in the forest with access to over 1,200 acres of epic trails! From mellow double track to hard enduro technical riding and everything in between, John’s Peak in Jacksonville, Oregon offers it all!

DO YOU RIDE AN E-MTB?

You read it right! Calling ALL E-MTB riders to The Main Event! Whether you ride both moto and e-mtb or just e-mtb, bring your bikes and get some laps in throughout the weekend! Kandace White, MTB Pro and owner at Seraphim Fitness will be leading group rides Saturday and Sunday from Lily Prairie.

Kandace White is a Fitness Trainer with a Masters degree who is a multi sport athlete and competes at the professional level with enduro and downhill mountain bikes. She grew up riding dirt bikes and they were the avenue that originally drove the love for mountain biking. Her gym is Seraphim Fitness where she trains individuals specifically for their goals and also creates programming online for fitness training.

Don’t want to pack groceries or worry about cooking food for the weekend?

Roastify will be serving up complimentary drip coffee for everyone each morning, with chilled Humm Kombucha, Vida Mate and Athletic Brewing.

  • Thursday Dinner: Chicken, beef and pork tacos (or bowls for the GF) with beans and rice. 

  • Friday: Breakfast Burritos (or bowls) and dinner catered by the Hula Grill serving rice, teriyaki chicken, Mac salad, grilled veggies, etc. 

  • Saturday: Breakfast Burritos (or bowls) and Burgers (yes, veggie/vegan options too) with fries. 

  • Sunday: Breakfast Burritos (or bowls)

  • Breakfast burritos will vary each day to keep it exciting! 

  • Light snacks will be available all weekend.

  • Dinners will include some soda options, but if you want something specific.. bring it!

  • I am a HUGE fan of dessert, so I will make sure there is a little something tasty to follow up a good meal! 

  • All dietary requests must be included in your registration by May 7th.

WANT TRAINING?

Our exclusive all female team of Dirtastic USMCA Certified coaches will be on site offering training, covering everything you could ever wish (at least we think so) for off-road riding. Want to work on Wheelies? Getting Faster? Cornering? Hill climbing and descending? How about getting over logs and obstacles? This year we are offering several 1.5 hour Skills Sessions for all levels with a variety of options to choose from including our Fundamentals, Woods 101, Technical Train Riding, Level Up Advanced Class, Party Tricks, Get Faster Speed Session, Corner Like a Pro, Get the Hole Shot, Switchbacks, Hills and Wheelies, Logs & Obstacles Sessions.

Session Options:

  • Fundamentals Session with Coaches Dawn Stob and Julie Johnson: Dirtastic offers a Fundamentals Clinic for women who are looking to improve their fundamental skills on a dirt bike. If you have a dirt bike and want to become more confident in cornering, wheelies, braking and acceleration, going over small obstacles, standing and more, this Session is for you! This Session is designed for newer riders and riders with just a bit of experience. (Levels 1-2)

  • Woods 101 Session with Coaches Connie Matson and Kacie Butler: Dirtastic coaches are primarily woods and enduro riders, which is why we have the best team to learn from! Our Woods Sessions is designed for riders who have completed the Fundamentals Session and/or who already ride, but want to work on line selection, cornering, bike control, navigating obstacles and riding single track trails. (Levels 2-4)

  • Technical Trail Riding Session with Coach Bailey Lerwill: This confidence boosting Session is designed for riders who want to become more efficient in technical terrain and push their limits. Hard Enduro and Endurocross Pro racer, Bailey Lerwill, will take you through a higher level of progressions while working on refining the fundamentals of technical trail riding. This Session will be tailored based on the riders goals. (Levels 4+)

  • Level Up! Advanced Workshop with Coach Bailey Lerwill: New for 2024, we are offering an advanced riding workshop with Hard Enduro and Endurocross Pro racer, Bailey Lerwill focusing on technical riding. There will be a focus on refining body positioning, line selection, clutch control, getting unstuck from challenging situations, becoming more efficient and confident in technical terrain, and more. At The Main Event we will have a variety of technical features including hill climbs & descents, switchbacks, log crossings, single track and more This Session will be tailored based on the riders goals. (Level 5+)

  • Wheelies, Logs & Obstacles with Coach Bailey Lerwill: It’s pretty much covered in the title! Hard Enduro and Endurocross Pro racer, Bailey Lerwill will be working with riders on controlled, intentional wheelies with the purpose of learning how to get over obstacles with more ease and confidence. Pick up tips on clutch control, how to get unstuck, ride through drops and more. Riders will be able to progress through varying sizes of obstacles. (Levels 3+)

  • Get Faster Speed Session with Coach Cortney Carpenter: Do you want to learn how to get faster in the trails? Cortney is one of the fastest women around and will taking you through a combination of track and trail riding skills with the intention to help you become more confidence managing speed, body positioning, line selection and twisting that throttle! (Levels 2+)

  • Corner Like a Pro with Coach Cortney Carpenter: Cornering is where you can make up time whether you’re on a casual ride or battling it out! Take your understanding for timing in a variety of corners, including rutted corners and flat corners to the next level! (Levels 2+)

  • Switchbacks & Off Camber Turns with Coach Cassie Slawson: Do you ever find yourself struggling around tight corners? How about those pesky switchbacks? We get you. Cassie will take you through progressions to help you feel more confident riding (or walking) tight, technical corners. (Levels 2+)

  • Hills with Coach Cassie Slawson: What goes up, must go back down! At the Main Event we have a variety of hills from mellow to steep, loamy and technical to practice building confidence on. From body positioning, braking, line selection and getting more out of your bike, at the end of the Session you will view hills through a new lens. (Levels 3+)

  • Get the Hole Shot Session with Coach Cortney Carpenter: Notice the timing here…. Practice your Hole Shots to get out in front just before the Mini Bike Relays. This year we have money on the line! Just sayin. (Levels 2+)

  • Party Tricks Session with Coaches Bailey Lerwill and Cassie Slawson: Party tricks aren’t just for Instagram…these skills are incredibly helpful to have in your skill set on the trail. Static Balance, Pivot Turns, Wheelie Pops and more! (Levels 2+)

We want you to get the most out of your Session, keeping our group sizes small with 6-8 riders per coach. Select Sessions will have CIT’s (Coaches in Training) to help assist.

**Reserved Oversized Vehicle Camping | $75 per vehicle

ALL RV’s, trailers, campers, motorhomes 30’ and longer MUST have this pass. You will have a reserved space. No hookups available. Share your RV, trailer, camper, or motorhome with your posse. Each oversized vehicle MUST have a parking pass for access to the Main Event. Each person in the vehicle MUST have a Main Event Pass.

We have the right to refuse service to anyone who does not respect our policies, club property, staff, volunteers, sponsors or our attendees.
